Audax Group-Backed EIS Acquires Pyramid Wire & Insulation

Genz & Associates, Inc. (“Genz”) is pleased to announce EIS Legacy, LLC (“EIS”), a portfolio company of Audax Group, has acquired Pyramid Wire & Insulation (“Pyramid”) an electrical solutions distributor headquartered in Germantown, Wisconsin.

Founded by Sean Dwyer, Steve Wienckowski and Jeff Madisen, Pyramid has worked diligently to establish a reputation as one of the most customer-centric and high-quality distributors in the country, focusing on the Midwestern region and serving local manufacturers with a best-in-class customer experience.

Audax and EIS has retained Genz as their buy-side M&A advisor to assist with EIS’s growth strategy through acquisitions. Genz identified Pyramid Wire & Insulation through our comprehensive search process, TargetSelect. The acquisition of Pyramid marks the second acquisition Genz has closed with EIS and the eighth with Audax.
